The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

In a critical initiative, the Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success (ACSES) has launched the Trials Registry, a critical resource designed to help close equity gaps in Australian higher education.

The innovative tool provides universities and practitioners with open access to evidence-based initiatives, trialled at universities across the country.

The Registry offers detailed insights into trial methodologies and outcomes, supporting the Centre’s ongoing commitment to building a robust evidence base for improving equity for both prospective and current university students.

It allows users to explore trials targeting specific outcomes and priority student groups, covering different stages of the student lifecycle. ACSES will also be adding detailed trial protocols to each entry, helping users replicate successful trials in their local contexts.

The Registry will continue to grow, offering updated trial reports and summaries that contribute to the broader higher education reform agenda, as outlined in the Australian Universities Accord Report.

Visit the ACSES Trials Registry to explore this critical resource and learn more about how evidence-based trials are shaping the future of equity in Australian higher education.
