The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

Retrospective for Perspective

Access and Widening Participation 1991 – 2014

The European Access Network (EAN) invites you to attend its 25th annual conference at the University College Dublin, Ireland’s Global University. This year, the EAN conference will take a retrospective look at the past 25 years of achievement in access to higher education and provide perspective for the next 25 years.

Why you should attend:

  1. EAN conferences are an opportunity to share and learn about research and practice in access to higher education. Conference delegates include academics, equity practitioners, policy-makers and students.
  2. Conference attendees will have an opportunity to network with people from all over the world, and discuss key issues in the outreach, access and support of higher education students, widening participation initiatives, diversity and inclusion, public policy and more.
  3. A keynote speaker at the 2016 will be Lumina Foundation CEO and President, Jamie Merisotis. The Lumina Foundation is one of the largest private organisations in the United States aiming to increase the percentage of Americans who attain higher education.
