The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

Event information

Powerful data | Strong evidence | Informed policy

The National Centre for Longitudinal Data invites you to attend its 2016 conference, Australia’s first major public event to focus on survey and administrative longitudinal data, the ways in which it can inform Australia’s social policy and the key policy questions that should be driving the research agenda.

The conference will bring together leading Australian and international researchers, policy-makers, policy influencers, leaders in data technologies, data modellers and analysts from across the public, private and not-for-profit sectors. It will be of particular interest to those working with Federal, State and Territory Governments.

With its focus on longitudinal data, the conference will be a showcase for:

Powerful data: Methods for collection, design, linkage and analysis
Strong evidence: Policy relevant research and analysis, and
Informed policy: Australia’s challenges and translation of evidence to policy.
