The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) will host a free webinar on 18 November 2020, presented by a representative from the Apple Initiatives team.

Technology is most powerful when it empowers everyone. Apple builds for inclusion and accessibility right from the start. Hear about some of the new accessibility features that come native on iOS and iPadOS and learn how they may assist all in learning and productivity. This session will go through key technology updates, and then demonstrate hints and tips in the cognitive and neurodiverse space.

The webinar is free to attend and will be live captioned. There will be no recording made of this webinar.

The presenter, Jessica is part of the Apple Initiatives team focusing on key areas of Accessibility and Lifelong Learning across all routes to market (Enterprise, Education, Consumer & Retail) in Australia, New Zealand and South Asia Region. Since joining Apple in 2006, Jessica has been dedicated to ensuring accessibility is championed as a basic human right and bringing that message across the globe. Jessica works with organizations including Vision Australia, Spinal Cord Injuries Australia, Aspect Autism Australia and shares her passion for sharing life-changing features through hands-on educational experiences, and educational tips that show how Apple technology can support daily living.

Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Flinders University and dual Graduate Certificates in HR and Communication Management from Sydney Institute of Business and Technology.
