The Australian Disability Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET) will present a webinar on 11 May 2021 from 1:00 pm–2:00 pm AEST to provide information and guidance to new disability practitioners in vocational education and training (VET).

New to the role? New to the sector? Keen to hear from others with experience? This forum will be for you.

The forum will aim to:

  • provide you with clarity on what is expected within your role, where does it start and end
  • look at tips and tricks when starting out in the role
  • discuss what is reasonable when making reasonable adjustments
  • explain the legislative frameworks that underpin disability practitioners’ work
  • and more.

Panellists Stephen Manson (TAFE SA), Brandon Taylor (TAFE Qld) and Linda Glover TasTAFE) bring many years of experience in the VET Sector.

The webinar is free to attend, it will be live captioned and recorded. The captioned video will be made available on the ADCET website.
