The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

Event information

The Australian and New Zealand Student Services Association (ANZSSA) is pleased to announce the key dates for the 26th ANZSSA Conference, which will be held on Tuesday 6 – Thursday 8 December 2022. Following on from the success of the 2021 Conference, this event will be held virtually – with the opportunity for groups to gather and watch the conference live together.

After developing roadmaps to recovery, taking the learnings from 2020 and 2021 and reshaping the ways services are delivered to students in the new environment, this year’s conference theme will ensure the continued delivery of services that students need in a manner that will ensure their ongoing engagement and success.

ANZSSA will soon be announcing exciting and insightful speakers who will be exploring a range of current and engaging topics under the conference theme of “Student Engagement & Success – Towards 2030”.

Abstract submissions are now open and will close on Tuesday 30 August 2022. ANZSSA encourages all members to submit an abstract and present at this year’s conference.
