The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

Concepts of Value and Worth: National and International Perspectives on Widening Access and Participation

The Glasgow School of Art and the Royal Conservatoire are delighted to host the 2017 Forum for Access and Continuing Education (FACE) conference in Glasgow, Scotland.

The warmest of Glasgow welcomes awaits national and international delegates who join us to explore current research and practice in widening access, equality, diversity and inclusion.

These small and specialist creative institutions combine to offer a platform for FACE members, non-members and students to share in knowledge exchange sessions and workshops, with plenty of opportunity to network, socialise and be entertained with like-minded colleagues in an inspiring and unusual conference setting.

The 2017 conference will be framed around the themes of reaching out, reaching in, reaching over and reaching up.
