The Australian Centre for Student Equity and Success acknowledges Indigenous peoples across Australia as the Traditional Owners of the lands on which the nation’s campuses are situated. With a history spanning more than 60,000 years as the original educators, Indigenous peoples hold a unique place in our nation. We recognise the importance of their knowledge and culture, and reflect the principles of participation, equity, and cultural respect in our work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and future, and consider it an honour to learn from our Indigenous colleagues, partners, and friends.

Equity Frontiers Forums

We seek to further empower the sector through evidence. The Equity Frontiers Forums aim to help practitioners use evidence to enhance outcomes for both prospective and current students, and help them generate further evidence of impact for the broader sector.

Our first Equity Frontiers Forum is planned for Thursday, 13 March 2025 and will run as a hybrid event from Perth.

The sector recently provided feedback on the Forum design. As a result, the Forum will include practitioner-led presentations, demonstrating how practitioners and their teams implemented impact evaluations of their equity initiatives. The Forum will also provide hands-on workshops, to help practitioners plan for an impact evaluation of equity initiatives. There will also be opportunities for participants to contextualise the learning and broader evaluation practices.

More details about the event will be released soon. To keep up to date with our news and events, subscribe to our newsletter.
