Event information

The third Australian Tertiary Education Network on Disability (ATEND) Professional Development Day for 2018 will be held at The University of Sydney in the Jane Foss Russell Building on Level 5 in Rooms 514/516.

This day is organised to help further the professional development for disability practitioners in higher education. It is also open to any members of the public who are interested or passionate about disability support in education.

The program for the day involves:

  1. Work Integrated Learning — Maree Higgins (University of New South Wales)
  2. Enhancing Disclosure for students with disability — Colin Clark (University of New South Wales)
  3. Achieving career success with disability — Caroline Krix (National Disability Coordination Officer Program/Western Sydney University), Mary Theodorou (University of Technology Sydney) and Sonya Price-Kelly (University of Technology Sydney)
  4. Networking lunch after the presentations

Cost:

ATEND Members — $60

Non-ATEND Members — $80

Students — $20
