Curtin University has several scholarships available for Western Australian students courtesy of the UniReady Enabling Program.

UniReady aims to help students qualify for entry into health, arts and creative industries, language, culture, education and business degrees. It is an excellent option for those who:

  • may not have met Curtin’s minimum ATAR
  • completed year 12 but did not take WACE exams
  • are undertaking or have completed vocational studies and now want to attend university
  • are mature-age students (aged 20 years and over).

The scholarships, which range in value between $500 and $5,000 are divided into 5 categories:

UniReady 1 – Accommodation and Relocation (Curtin Housing) up to $5,000, for students from regional locations who require assistance with the cost of relocation to Perth and on-campus accommodation.

UniReady 2 – Accommodation and Relocation (Off Curtin campus) up to $5,000, for students from regional locations who require assistance with the cost of relocation to Perth and off-campus accommodation.

UniReady 3 – Relocation Cost Only up to $1,000, for students from regional locations who require assistance with the cost of relocation to Perth only.

UniReady 4 – Commuter Scholarship up to $800, for students studying on campus who require financial assistance for transport costs. (Note: distance from Bentley campus should be more than 1.5 hours one way.)

UniReady 5 – Support for Access up to $1,000, for students who are studying online in a regional location and require assistance.
